Step by step

  1. Put approx. 0.12oz of tea leaves (1.5 teaspoonful)
    and decoct for 10 minutes at low heat.
  2. Rooibos tea can be drunk hot or cold,
    but when it is cooled with the tea leaves in the teapot
    the active ingredients will be even more potent..

    Rooibos tea can be brewed in the same way as black tea but the active ingredients which include flavonoids and minerals will increase in flavour when it is decocted.
