TASTING NOTE

Blend of black teas harvested in the high mountains at an altitude of over 1200m. Its fresh flavors are close to a Darjeeling. Located in south central Sri Lanka, the Nuwara Eliya Mountains are renowned for the quality and finesse of the teas they produce. The altitude of this famous terroir is over 1,200 meters and its climate is similar to that of Darjeeling, to which it is often compared. Our Ceylan Nuwara Eliya is therefore a very fine black tea with clear liquor and straw yellow tones. To be savored preferably plain for its freshness and its delicate flavors with light fruitiness and without bitterness or tannins, while flexibility.

MULTICOLORED ICE TEA

Fresh tangy fruit and the depth of black tea blend perfectly in this refined cocktail.

Recommended teas: CEYLAN NUWARA ELIYA

Ingredients (for 2 persons):
Recommended tea 6 g, Boiling water 150 ml, Fresh fruit of your choice (strawberry, apple, orange, etc.), Powdered sugar 5g, Ice cubes


Preparation:

  1. Sprinkle the fresh fruit of your choice with powdered sugar. Leave to rest for 5 minutes.
  2. In a teapot, infuse 6g of tea for 150ml of boiling water for 3 minutes
  3. Transfer to another carafe using a colander
  4. Add the fruits marinated in sugar and let infuse 5 more minutes.
  5. In the glasses, pour the preparation over ice cubes.
