Japanese green tea with refreshing flavors of lemongrass and lime. Find a perfect blend of flavors to enjoy in hot tea or iced tea. Seasonal tea available only in summer.
At first glance, we admire the pretty khaki shade coloring these needles sprinkled with lemongrass and zesty bits. Then, we inhale the scents of lime that escape from it, with those slightly peppery hints of lemongrass that envelop us. It then emerges like a cool breeze laden with essential oils. Once infused, the leaves open well and offer us a beautiful olive green. They are still loaded with a sweet scent reminiscent of lemon treats, accompanied by a scent of lemongrass incense.
On the nose, the both green and buttery scents typical of Bancha green teas emerge for the first time. When tasting, the lemon lines the palate from the start. Lime is also involved, with its more subtle acidity, quickly extended by lemongrass and its strong imprint. A vegetal and milky final note is there to remind us of the identity of the tea base. A game of astringency and acidity accompanies us until the end of the tasting, in the length. All of this reminds us of delicious memories of our youth: lemon peel sorbet or citrus juice lollipop ...
