Mulled wine is a drink served at the start of the evening in Nordic countries such as Sweden. Welcome your guests with our non-alcoholic version or in the middle of the evening to be sure to warm everyone up. As in Sweden, taste the marinated fruits and nuts directly in the drink while enjoying the moment.




Recommended tea: ROOIBOS NATURAL


Ingredients (for 4 people – approx. 800ml):
Recommended Tea – 24g, Spice Blend – 6g, Orange – 5 thick slices, Water – 600ml, Grape Juice – 120ml, Orange Juice – 120ml, Honey – 40g (2 cases), Flaked Almonds – 12g, Raisins – 24, Orange Zest, Cinnamon Stick



Preperation:

  1. Peel the skin of the orange into 4 thin strips then cut the flesh into 5 thick slices (approx. 5 mm).
  2. In a saucepan, heat the water until boiling. Then add the tea and the spice mix and simmer for 3 minutes.
  3. Turn off the heat, strain the preparation then put it back in the pan you have already used.
  4. Add the grape juice, orange juice, honey, almonds, grapes and one of the orange slices to the same pan. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In the meantime, tie a strip of orange zest around a cinnamon stick like a ribbon (see the presentation photo). Repeat the operation to obtain an orange decorating stick for each cup.
  6. Pour the tea into the cups, add a slice of oranges and a cinnamon stick per cup.
  7. Enjoy hot.
