French toast revisited in an original way by combining it with your favorite milk tea. The perfect dish for a breakfast or weekend brunch!

 

Recommended tea: VELOUTÉ D'AUTOMNE


Ingredients (for 2 people):
Recommended tea 5g, Boiling water 50ml, Slice bread 1 slice, Milk 2 tbsp, Sugar 2-3 Cac, Egg 1, Butter 10g
Decorations: vanilla ice cream, fresh mint leaves, honey, fruits ...

 

Preparation :

  1. Infuse 5g of tea in 50ml of boiling water for 3 minutes.
  2. Add milk and sugar to the tea.
  3. In a bowl, crack the egg and stir it into the milk tea.
  4. Soak the slice of bread, letting it rest in the preparation for at least 10 minutes for each side.
  5. In a skillet, melt the butter and brown the slice on both sides.
  6. Cut the slice in half and place it on a plate, accompanied by vanilla ice cream or fruit.
  7. To be enjoyed while still hot!
Tip: it is also possible to use your leftover bread: baguette or country bread, let yourself be tempted. In this case, don't hesitate to let the bread soak in the milk tea overnight.
