Preparation tips

Sencha Kamo is a visually striking and generous tea. To extract its full richness:

  • Water temperature: 75°C - 85°C. A moderate temperature preserves the delicate flavor of the Matcha without burning the Sencha. Spring or filtered water is recommended.
  • Brewing time: 1 to 1'30 minutes. The Matcha releases its flavor instantly. A short infusion is sufficient to obtain an intense and balanced brew.
  • Dosage: Use approximately 4g to 5g of tea per 150ml of water.
  • Re-infusions: Like all high-quality green teas, this tea can be infused up to two times. For subsequent infusions, you can slightly increase the temperature and reduce the brewing time to 30 seconds.
  • Sommelier's tip: Gently swirl the teapot before pouring to evenly distribute the matcha powder and achieve a uniform emerald color.
