Small “Kofuku” Matcha Bowl – For the pleasure of tea every day. A small matcha bowl designed for simply enjoying your green tea every day. Can be used with a whisk and a matcha spoon for easy preparation, even outdoors. Its name “Kofuku” comes from the expression used during tea ceremonies to ask for “just a little” matcha. Kenzan or Streaming Style: Inspired by the works of Ogata Kenzan, brother of the famous painter Ogata Kōrin, founder of the Rinpa school. The bowl is decorated in a refined pictorial style, combining white slip, iron oxide paint, and blue underglaze.
This compact bowl can also be used as a meal bowl: seasoned rice, chirashi, soups, or side dishes. It is suitable for many uses.
