ABOUT THE DAMAS ROSES VARIETY
This variety of rose is reputed to be the most aromatic in the world. Formerly, its perfume was, it seems, much loved by Queen Cleopatra. 1500 Damas roses will not yield more than one gram of essential oil, which explains its very high price. Bulgaria is the country producing the most beautiful Damas roses in the world.
