"ENGLISH GROG" TEA

A perfect drink to warm up on cold days. Enjoy this English version of the Grog called "Hot buttered rum" and associated here with the rich flavors of black tea.


Recommended tea: DARJEELING 2nd FLUSH, SPICES, BISCUIT GOURMAND


Ingredients (for 1 person):
Recommended tea 65ml, Dark rum 45ml, Cubed sugar 1 or 2 pieces, Semi-salted butter 8g

Preperation :

  1. In a preheated mug, pour the hot tea over the sugar squares to melt.
  2. Add dark rum, mix lightly.
  3. Place the butter on the surface and enjoy.
Tip: You can replace the spoon with a cinnamon stick to mix your drink while adding a spicy touch. It is also possible to adapt this recipe with a milk tea for a Hot buttered rum cow tea.
