An easy jelly to make from your favorite iced tea. A drink to adapt according to your desires!

Ingredients (for 2-3 people):

Full-bodied iced tea 250 ml (preparation of 20g of tea for 1L of water in cold infusion beforehand), Water 30ml, Gelatin 5g, Sugar 15g, Fresh fruits, Decorations (red bean paste, brown sugar syrup (Kokuto) , roasted soybean powder (Kinako), matcha, etc.


Preparation :

  1. Soften the gelatin in the 30 ml of water.
  2. In a saucepan, combine the softened gelatin, full-bodied iced tea and sugar. Heat, stirring, until the gelatin melts.
  3. Let cool slightly before transferring the preparation into a container. Put in the refrigerator so that the jelly forms while cooling completely.
  4. Decorate according to your tastes with the different toppings.
Tip: If you're using a fruit-flavored iced tea, add the same type of fresh fruit for a pretty visual and even more flavor! For an immediate trip to Japan, make a green tea jelly with matcha and genmaicha. Decorate with red bean paste, brown sugar or roasted soy powder.
