  • Temperature: Use water at 75°C - 80°C. Water that is too hot will bring out the bitterness of the tea and mask the delicate flavor of the cherry.
  • Brewing Time: A brewing time of 1'30 to 2 minutes is ideal. Be precise to maintain the balance between the tea base and the fruity aroma.
  • Dosage: Use approximately 2g to 2.5g of tea (one heaped teaspoon) per 150ml of water.
  • Re-infusions: Like all high-quality green teas, Akane can be infused up to 2 times. For subsequent infusions, you can slightly increase the temperature and reduce the brewing time to 30 seconds.
  • The Secret to Iced Tea: Sakurambo is exceptional iced. When cold-brewed (Mizudashi), the cherry's acidity softens, and the aroma becomes incredibly captivating. It's the perfect drink for summer afternoons.

TEA AND SODA - SAKURAMBO

A refreshing soda made from homemade tea syrup.

Recommended teas: GREEN SAKURAMBO CHERRY, BLACK SAKURAMBO CHERRY, BLACK CHERRY

Ingredients (for 1 person):
For the tea syrup: Recommended tea 2.5g ~ 3g or 1 tea-bag, Powdered sugar 100g, Boiling water 75ml, Gum syrup
For tea and soda (for 1 person): Sparkling water or sparkling wine 200ml, previously prepared tea syrup 15 ~ 20ml


Preparation of tea syrup:

  1. Put the sugar in a cup and cover with the hot, prepared, full-bodied tea. According to your preferences add a little lemon juice.
  2. If a bit of sugar remains at the bottom of the cup, heat 30-40 seconds in the microwave and mix until completely dissolved.
  3. Cover with a lid and store in the refrigerator for about 1 month.

Preparation of tea and soda:

  1. Add the tea syrup to a chilled soda. Mix lightly and enjoy.
  2. The syrup can also be enjoyed with sparkling wine or champagne for a delicious tea Kyr.
