This tea is an exclusive creation, conceived as a vibrant tribute to the French capital. A flowery, lively city, famous for its picturesque markets where stalls overflowing with fresh fruit perfume the streets, Paris is savored here in a blend of rare elegance, combining the strength of a CTC method black tea with the delicate scents of Parisian gardens.

A visual tribute: A nod to the tricolor

From the moment you open the tin, this tea celebrates France with a refined aesthetic reminiscent of the colors of the national flag:

  • Blue: Brought by the delicate cornflower petals.
  • White: Evoked by the brightness of orange peel.
  • Red: Embodied by the nobility of rose petals. This visual anthology makes this blend an object of pleasure even before the first infusion.

A perfect structure: The alliance of leaves and CTC

To support this aromatic bouquet, Lupicia has developed a unique base of Indian black teas, combining two textures:

  • Leaf tea: For the finesse and subtlety of the aromas.
  • CTC tea pearls: For strength, the deep color of the liquor, and a homogeneous structure. This combination offers a full-bodied tea, capable of carrying intense fruity notes without ever losing its character.
  • Remarkable Intensity: The black tea leaves are delicately crushed and rolled into small pearls. This process allows for a rapid and powerful release of aromas and tannins.

On the nose and palate, it's an explosion of flavors reminiscent of Parisian markets:

Preparation tips

This versatile tea adapts to all your tasting preferences:

  • Hot Brewing: Infuse at 85°C - 95°C for 2 to 2'30 minutes. The heat will enhance the pastry notes of the mirabelle plum and the strength of the black tea. Use spring or filtered water.
  • Dosage: Use approximately 2,5g to 3g of tea (one heaped teaspoon) per 150ml of water.
  • Re-infusions: This tea can be infused up to 2 times. For subsequent infusions, you can slightly increase the temperature and reduce the time to 30 seconds.
  • Iced Tea: Bienvenue à Paris is also beautifully suited to cold brewing. As iced tea, the blackcurrant and raspberry notes become incredibly refreshing and invigorating.
  • Serving tip: Enjoy it plain to appreciate the interplay of fruit flavors, or with a splash of milk for a more indulgent treat.
