Our premium Fleurs de Paradis jasmine green tea is a masterpiece of patience and expertise. It is the result of a rigorous artisanal technique whose origins date back to 12th-century China. Here, no liquid flavoring is added: only the pure fragrance of the jasmine blossom perfumes the tea leaf.

The traditional method: The secret of patience

The making of this tea is a nocturnal ritual that demands absolute precision:

  • Natural Infusion: Fresh jasmine blossoms, picked at dawn, are blended with premium green tea leaves. During the night, the blossoms open and release their essence, which the tea naturally absorbs.
  • Renewal: This process is repeated several times (several successive infusions) with new fresh blossoms at each stage, until the tea is saturated with the floral fragrance.
  • Flower Removal: Once the fragrance has been captured deep within the leaf fibers, the withered flowers are delicately removed by hand. What you taste is the pure and lasting memory of the flower, sealed within the tea.

Preparation tips

To preserve this centuries-old craft:

  • Water temperature: 75°C - 85°C. Water that is too hot will ruin the delicate natural fragrance of the jasmine. Use spring or filtered water.
  • Infusion time: 1 minute 30 seconds to 2 minutes. This time is sufficient to release the floral bouquet while preserving the clarity of the green tea.
  • Dosage: Use approximately 2,5g to 3g of tea (one heaped teaspoon) per 150ml of water.
  • Re-infusions: Like all high-quality green teas, this tea can be infused up to 2 times. For subsequent infusions, you can slightly increase the temperature and reduce the brewing time to 30 seconds.
